The wind blows lightly over the lake, giving it a slight ripple. The water laps against the sands, and the soft shushing sound of the grains give the area around it a nice soothing effect. On both sides of the lake lies a dense forest, giving the outskirts of the lake a greenish tint. Looking towards the lake from the soft green feilds, you see the extension of the forest, touching the side of the Academy. On the right, is a small garden. Behind you lies the Academy. Built out of old grey stone, weathered by the years, with small vines creeping up the sides. The windows are gracefully built, and the big wooden doors that lead to the back courtyard. Inside, the dorms and other classes remind you of an ancient castle. This beautiful place would be a paradise, if the kids inside weren't here to avoid prision.
unfortunately this is a narrow road

Welcome to Nightmare Falls Academy, or as the students call it, the Academy for Freaks. This is the only place where these kids can live, and not be hunted by the police. These teens aren't just kids, they're more. They're not rebels, these students are seriously freaks. We have it all from vampires and werewolves, to demons and anthros. And the possibilities within these groups never stop going. The Academy was built to teach these kids to get through the beginnings of their life and changes, before sending them out in the world. You don't have to leave the Academy, and most people don't, because this is the only place the fit in. This school has it's sunny side, but it also has a dark aftermath.
and some of us are hanging on the edge

All the freaks here are warring. Of course, none of them would appreciate being locked into a school, and sharing it with the enemies of their species isn't good either. Once and a while, a student will disappear, prounounced dead. This doesn't keep some of the children from interacting with the others, or accepting them. The anthros can get along with the werewolves, and the vampires with the demons, and they seem okay. But, how can you tell who's willing to help, and who's waiting for to fall. You can't be on everybody's good side, and sooner or later your time will come to prove yourself, and survive this place. You only have so much time before you will be pulled under, and lost in the currents. Or will you be tempted to enter the forest, and try to escape?
